John is an experienced transportation and logistics leader focused on creating solutions for external and internal customers on a daily basis. John began his career in freight in 1990, bringing 27 years of industry knowledge with him to FLI. He has extensive experience in third-party logistics, LTL and truckload asset-based sales and supply chain financing. Prior to moving to Kansas City and joining FLI in 2018, John was Vice President of Sales for an asset-based transportation company located in Chicago. John has been the recipient of Wal-Mart’s prestigious Carrier of the Year award on three separate occasions, as well as the Wal-Mart’s Innovator of the Year award for development of an industry leading supply chain visibility technology project.
When John’s not driving industry growth (or racking up the awards!) he is spending as much time as possible with his two daughters. In his free time he enjoys motorcycling, listening to music and traveling.
