April joined the FLI Team with over 15 years of experience in the transportation industry. She began her career in inventory management and supply utilization, supervising teams of over-the-road transport drivers with access to one of the nation’s largest propane supply networks.
In 2011, April turned her attention to domestic intermodal freight. She managed a fleet of over 400 containers with teams in both Overland Park, KS and Quincy, WA; she is also accomplished in negotiating and maintaining rates with third-party drayage carriers and dedicated truck fleets.
In 2015, April switched her focus to 3rd party logistics and the need for controls and compliance in the transportation industry. She was a key asset in the creation and sales of a transportation management system giving customers the ability to control freight spend.
In her free time, April loves to spend time with her son. She also enjoys reading and watching sports.
